Abhay is a lawyer and a SRUTI fellow. Born and brought up in Shivpuri, he graduated from National Law University, Odisha in 2018. As a young law student he petitioned and won in the national green tribunal against illegal encroachments on the water bodies in Shivpuri. He understood that lack of spaces and opportunities in small towns hinders growth and started creating spaces for young people to explore and innovate. Previously an IDIA fellow, he has an interest in using RTI as a tool for better governance and in creating permaculture spaces in Shivpuri. He is a nature lover and the most inclusive person.
